Yoga and Complementary Therapies to Support Your Pregnancy and Postnatal Recovery

The Mandala Midwife offers a wide range of personalised treatments to support you during pregnancy and after childbirth. Whether you’re looking for deep relaxation or relief from pregnancy aches and pains, our tailored therapies are designed to meet your specific needs for a comfortable and nurturing experience.

Caesarean scar massage is a gentle yet powerful technique designed to support your healing process after a C-section. This therapeutic massage goes beyond scar healing, helping to release tightness in the scar and surrounding tissues, restoring your natural mobility and flexibility.

Regular C-section scar massage can alleviate discomfort by reducing pain and sensitivity caused by trapped nerves or irritated tissues, and it can also help restore sensation in areas that feel numb. In addition to these benefits, this technique may improve the appearance of the scar, leaving you feeling more comfortable and confident in your recovery.

Whether your C-section scar is six weeks or six years old, booking a session could support your healing journey.

The RESTORE method has been developed by Emma Holly, the UK’s leading scar therapy educator and a Harley Street specialist.

“I’ve had 2 pregnancy massages to help me with lower back pain that started in my 3rd trimester. I didn’t think it would help me this much but it’s amazing!! I’m not a fan of strong essential oils smells so we spent time finding ones I liked. I will definitely be coming back for a postnatal massage”

— Sophie, Whitchurch

“I would highly recommend Jill to any pregnant woman. Being a midwife herself with many years experience her knowledge around pregnancy and birth is extensive. Jill is a very warm, caring and calm practitioner which is exactly what is needed when you aren’t feeling great in pregnancy.”

— Charlotte, Berkshire

“I’ve been coming to a Saturday morning yoga class for 6 weeks now and I love it. I wish I had started coming earlier in my pregnancy! It’s a little bit of me time each week that I cherish. Jill is always ready to answer my questions. I want to stay pregnant just to keep coming!”

— Amy, Andover
